Liquid Dressing

It is a liquid gel with properties that activate the healing process with antimicrobial action useful for cleaning wounds.

Composition

Nanoskin® Biogel is composed of nanometric hemicellulose fibers obtained through a biotechnological process and usnic acid.

These nanometric hemicellulose fibers contain plant stem cells; green tea phenolic compounds; polysaccharide fibers: β-glucan and glucuronic acid, flavonoids, diterpenes, triterpenes, lignans, phenylpropanoids, and prednylated acetophenones. Nanoskin® is rich in acetic, lactic, and glucuronic acid enzymes, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12, vitamins C, D, E, and K, biotin, and folic acid.

Does not contain alcohol.

Therapeutic Effect

Once applied to the wound, Nanoskin® Biogel acts as an effective detoxifying agent, an action that promotes the optimal healing process.

Directions:

• Cleaning and asepsis of superficial wounds (dermis, epidermis)
• Wounds with difficult-to-access areas
• Initial step to treat infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection.
• Injuries in which a conventional dressing does not effectively cover the wound bed
• Accidental wounds: cutting, puncture, bruise, dermabrasion, surgical, cosmetic.
• Chronic or difficult-to-heal wounds
• Bed sores/bedsores
• Diabetic ulcers
• Venous/arterial ulcers

How to use

In the wound:

• Apply Nanoskin® Biogel , holding the spray about 15 cm from the lesion and pressing the valve once, holding the container upright. Repeat until the lesion is covered.
• Depending on the type of wound, continue the healing process with  Nanoskin® ACT Soft  or  Nanoskin®  ACT membrane.
  In the hands:
• Nanoskin® Biogel  can be used on the hands of the person treating the wound when surgical gloves are not available to ensure asepsis, or when the person is allergic to latex and cannot use them. 
• Apply Nanoskin® Biogel holding the spray about 15 cm from your hand and press the valve once, keeping the container upright.
• Rub the liquid gel between both hands, making sure to cover the fingertips.

Posology

It can be applied 1 or 2 times a day; each time a cure is performed or as directed by a doctor.
